INVISALIGN

The Palmyra cosmetic dentistry and braces team is proud to offer Invisalign® as a more discreet alternative to traditional braces. Instead of using unsightly metal bands and brackets, the Invisalign system employs a series of clear plastic “aligners,” or retainer trays.

These clear plastic aligners are worn for about two weeks until the desired tooth movement has occurred, at which time the patient utilizes the next fitted tooth aligner. This progression of Invisalign retainers is continued until the teeth are in their correct position. The main advantage of Invisalign teeth straightening technology is that patients can enjoy straight teeth without the need for metal brackets and bands. In fact, it’s very hard to tell if someone is wearing these “clear braces” at all!
